Our Founder
Spencer Kaye founded Transform Investment Group (TIG) in 2016 and has led the firm through over 50 investments across technology, life sciences, financial services, and sports.

Through TIG’s venture studio, Spencer has written the first check and taken operational roles in five companies, collectively valued at over $1 billion. These companies are supported by renowned backers, including Morgan Stanley, MUFG, SoftBank, 8VC, and Tribe Capital, as well as influential individuals like Chamath Palihapitiya, Kendra Scott, and Scottie Scheffler.

In addition, Spencer manages the private investments of his family’s second-generation business, Starfish Partners Financial, a global executive recruiting network with over 200 offices worldwide.
Spencer also serves as a venture partner at Tribe Capital, a Silicon Valley-based fund with over $2 billion in assets under management, focusing on data-driven investing.

His philanthropic efforts include operating the Kaye Foundation, serving as a board member of PAWS Central Texas, and contributing as a member of the Vatican Council for Inclusive Capitalism, established by Pope Francis and Lynn Forester de Rothschild.
